The 17th of March was one of the three rest days Gandhi set out for the march – he spent one day a week in silence, meditating and only communicating with written notes as part of his weekly regimen. As such, I am resting today in my apartment. I’ve gone through some of the pictures from the past five days of the reenactment. So far, I’ve walked over 50 miles on the treadmill towards the 240 mile total. This next week and for the weeks that follow, I will be on the treadmill 6 days a week (Tuesdays thru Sundays). It has been a fascinating experience so far – very interesting to work with such a physical goal in mind. I continue to make friends and invite others to walk with me (see images).
